Welcome to AV Dance Studio ("AV Dance Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of avdancestudios.com (the "Site") and to all group classes, private lessons, introductory classes, workshops, and events we offer (the "Services"). By using the Site, booking a class, or taking part in our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are booking for a minor, you agree to these Terms for yourself and for that minor.

1. Registration and Eligibility

• You must give accurate and complete information when you register, and keep it up to date.

• You must be at least 18 years old to register. A parent or legal guardian must register any student under 18 and is responsible for that student's participation, payments, and conduct.

• We may refuse or cancel any registration at our discretion, including when a class is full or a student is not a good fit for a class level.

2. Classes and Schedule

• Class descriptions, levels, times, locations, and instructors are listed on the Site and may change.

• We may change, reschedule, combine, or cancel classes because of low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, holidays, or other circumstances. We will try to give you as much notice as possible by email, phone, or text.

• If we cancel a class, we will offer a make-up class, a credit, or a refund for that class.

• We may place students in the level that best matches their age and skill.

3. Payments and Pricing

• Prices for classes, packages, memberships, and private lessons are listed on the Site or given to you at the time of booking.

• Payment is due when you book, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor.

• Class packages and memberships expire [number] days/months after purchase. They are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise.

• We may change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect services you have already paid for.

4. Cancellations, Missed Classes, and Refunds

• Group classes: You may cancel a booking up to [24] hours before class starts without penalty. Late cancellations and no-shows count as a used class.

• Private lessons: You must cancel or reschedule at least [24/48] hours before the lesson. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.

• Make-up classes: Students may make up a missed group class in another class of the same level within [30] days, if space is available.

• Refunds: Except as stated in these Terms or required by law, all payments are [non-refundable]. If a student cannot continue for medical reasons (with a doctor's note) or because we cancel a class, we may offer a credit or a prorated refund at our discretion.

• Free introductory class: The complimentary 20-minute introductory class is limited to one per new student.

5. Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk

• Dance is a physical activity with an inherent risk of injury. By taking part, you agree that you (or your child) are in suitable physical condition to dance and that you take part voluntarily.

• Please tell your instructor before class about any injuries, health conditions, or limitations that may affect safe participation.

• Students must follow instructors' directions and studio safety rules. Instructors may ask a student to rest or stop if they believe continuing is unsafe.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks of participating in our Services, including the risk of injury, and you release AV Dance Studio, its owners, instructors, and staff from claims arising from your participation. This release does not cover injuries caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

• Students who are sick or contagious should not attend class.

6. Studio Conduct and Dress Code

• Students, parents, and guests must treat instructors, staff, and other students with respect. We may remove from class, without refund, anyone whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful.

• Please arrive on time. Students who arrive more than [10] minutes late may be asked to watch instead of joining, for safety reasons.

• Students should wear appropriate dancewear and footwear for their class, as described on the class page or by the instructor.

• Parents and guardians must drop off and pick up students under 18 on time. We are not responsible for supervising minors before or after their scheduled class.

• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

7. Photos and Videos

We may photograph or record classes, rehearsals, and performances and use these images on our Site, social media, and promotional materials, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not want you or your child to appear in our photos or videos, tell us in writing at avdancestudio18@gmail.com.

Students and parents may not record classes or choreography without the instructor's permission. Our choreography and teaching materials are the intellectual property of AV Dance Studio and its instructors.

8. Use of the Site

• All content on the Site, including text, images, videos, logos, and design, belongs to AV Dance Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

• You agree not to misuse the Site, including by trying to get unauthorized access, interfering with how it works, or using it for unlawful purposes.

• The Site may include links to third-party websites, such as Instagram and Facebook. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, AV Dance Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in question.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If you keep using the Site or Services after an update, the updated Terms apply.
